The locality
Nkondjock is one of the four boroughs that make up the Department of Nkam in the Littoral Region in the Republic of Cameroon. It is bounded north by the Department of High - Nkam, east by the Department of Mbam - and - Inoubou, west by the Department of Mungo and south by the Borough of Yabassi. It covers an area of 1800 km2 with an estimated population of about 25,000 inhabitants.

Nkondjock is also located on the main road Yabassi / Bafang about 96km from Yabassi, or 180 km from Douala.

Nkondjock is a large forested area populated by elephants that devastated plantations. Thus Nkondjock means town of elephants
The relief is that of the mountain. The climate is characterized by two seasons: a rainy season and dry season. The main rivers flowing into the district are Nkam which takes the name of "Wouri" in Douala, the Makombe, the Mabombe and Male.
Nkondjock has poorly maintained roads thare become impassable during the rainy season.
Communication is provided by mail and mobile phone. Found in this small town: a market every Saturday, small shops, primary and secondary schools and administrative facilities.
Nkondjock is the lifeblood of the economy of the region Nkam. Men, women and children cultivate food crops, but also cash crops: cocoa, coffee, banana, oil palm, etc.. But the literacy rate is very small, which does not favor the involvement of people in the marketing of their products from cash crops, fishing, hunting and livestock
